Operating from headquarters in Birmingham, UK, Salts Healthcare has grown to become a highly successful international medical device manufacturer. The Interior Design Practice (IDP) were briefed to transform their manufacturing area into a flexible new environment to host events, provide meeting space, and inspire human connection. The project was an opportunity to embrace Salts’ culture while accommodating a need to attract clients to launch events, and become a new destination for staff.

Capturing the essence of Salts Healthcare, IDP created a timeless, durable design with a neutral colour palette and seamless visual connections between each work setting and space. The lighting, flooring, biophilia and material finishes greatly influence the organic tone of the interior, while the furniture helps to elevate the experience and provide a strong structure to the design. Allermuir products underpin the design intent of each area. The organic forms of Famiglia and Open emphasise the natural theme, and Oran gives confidence and strength to the reception space.
